About Me

This post is also available in: polski (Polish)

Hello! My name is Malgosia Kozlowska-Doczyk. I am Polish live in Galway, in Ireland.

Journalism is my passion, along with interviewing people. I always try to accent the poetic side of life in my articles, and sometimes I write my own poems. Also I am sensitive to social issues and I would like to touch them in my writing as well.

My blog is called “Blue Tram”, because I imagine that I travel by ordinary public transport, exactly by trams through my life. I meet various people, I have diverse situations, and views outside the window. I am a passenger but life is a motorman.

So, this blog is a space which moves through many places, where you can meet people, refresh your dreams, get to know some cultures better.

I write my articles in English and in Polish, because I know so many people from various countries and my life is among diverse cultures.

My other fondness is volunteering. At the moment I am a Wave Maker of European Capital of Culture Galway 2020. We are a community of 143 nationalities and together, we try to change our common world for better.

The motivation that caused me to set up my blog was a journey to Sibiu in Romania to work as a volunteer at the Sibiu International Theatre Festival.

The best gift for me are greetings cards. I love receiving them and I make them, too. You can check out in the TramGALLERY.

Coffee time – this is an important moment in my life. Coffee does mean for me a good feeling, silence, friendship and connection.

Warmly welcome to the Blue Tram! Put some inspiration in your pocket, and have a nice journey!
