On Valentine’s Day, the sun woke up earlier than a week ago. As usual, I peeked through the blinds right after waking up and saw the blue sky was brightening. And thanks this miracle I had more energy.
So I dressed in a navy blue tunic with jugs and cups. To celebrate this longer day with my outfit, too. Emily brewed me a short Americano. In a pink canvas bag, I carried two croissants baked in the back of a local shop.
I wondered if my Valentine, with crocheted sheep, had made it to a certain school in Mississippi. And if it was now shining on the map with the other cards. Because we still send each other signals of goodness. Even if we don’t know each other and will never meet again.

In Galway, the grass is dusted with white frost. The fox wasn’t waiting in the garden at dawn. Because she and he are probably busy looking for a suitable spot to give birth cubs in March.
Quite quiet and ordinary. I’m planning to sew a denim mug case today. And maybe instead of the seaside, we’ll go for a walk in the forest today. And then for tiramisu at Bar Italia Ciarlantini.
Have a wonderful celebration of the ordinary things that bring us joy!
Your beautiful card made it to Mississippi! The kids were thrilled to have one all the way from Galway! We have a grey, chilly Valentine’s Day here in New York, but the little things will make it cheery and warm. Such as reading this post!
Thank you, Sharon! I am so glad, that my Valentine arrived to Missisipi to kids and made they joyful 🙂 I can feel this connection. And those little things are important to me very much.
