This post is about a fantastic card making workshop but also to memory Wave Makers community we created in Galway during recent years.
In early December one of Wave Maker Tana Kundek came up with the idea to meet together to make Christmas cards because she loves art & craft. I am a handmade cards lover too, so I helped her with the organization. Our best manager Elena Toniato took care of everything. She was always the ignition of our community.

On a summer afternoon, we met at Nimmo’s Pier in Galway. River Corrib in Claddagh Quay flowed calmly and was a deep blue color. We took bags and litter keepers, which were brought by Tiarnan McCusker – Galway City Environmental Awareness Officer. I had gloves from a few previous coastal clean-up with Wave Makers. We parked our bikes next to the meadow and moved towards blue and green.

Blue Monday was introduced to the calendar as the most depressing day of the year by UK psychologist from Cardiff. January is probably very gloomy and wet in the Welsh capital located on the Bristol Channel, major inlet extent to the North Atlantic.
